18 Must-Have House Plants that Will Clean and Purify Your Indoor Air

According to NASA, a Boston Fern is one of the best house plants known to purify indoor air.

NASA researchers conducted a study several years ago to figure out which house plants were the most effective in cleaning air pollution in their space stations.

They discovered that there were a total of 18 plants that were extremely effective at clearing the air of benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, and ammonia- all of which are chemicals known for causing a plethora of health conditions. 

Although many of us are not living thousands of miles above earth, we still can find this information pretty useful to help purify the air in our homes.
