A simple trick to keeping your shower liner mold free is by spraying a mixture of salt water on the liner at least once a week. You can also try allowing the liner to soak in a bucket of salt water once a month for long-term prevention.

White vinegar is very effecting at killing mold and preventing it's growth on your shower curtains and liners.

Vinegar

Vinegar is a powerful mold killer because of it’s acidic nature. It is also non-toxic so it’s safe to use around pets and small children.

With this in mind, you can spray undiluted vinegar directly on your shower liner to prevent mold from taking over. Make sure to turn on your bathroom ventilator as well as open any doors or windows to help the vinegar smell dissipate.

If the smell is still too strong, you can try diluting the vinegar with a little bit of water before spraying.

Listerine is very effective at killing mold on your shower curtains and liners.

Listerine

Listerine for many is a well-known brand of mouth wash, but it works wonderfully as a cleaner for your bathroom. Listerine contains 4 different essential oils that have been proven to kill bacteria and fungi.

To prevent mold from growing on your shower liner, spray it with Original Listerine to keep mold at bay and your bathroom smelling fresh.
